After having the cup of hot cocoa Friday night, I decided to go out and take some night shots. Cold weather after some warm weater usually makes for a little fog so that's when I went to the river. (these are in a ditch at the river though) This one was was taken a few minutes before yesterday's post. The heron from yesterday was standing in that little bend in the water on the lower right side of the frame. When I got finished taking this one (and a few more from this spot) and headed out, I decided to point the car towards the water to see what was out there. I saw a few herons so I turned the lights off. That's when the one from yesterday's post walked in front of me. I took a bunch of night shots that night and I'll probably be posting a few of them this week. I actually took a few shots from this spot earlier in the night but didn't realize I had the wrong setting on the camera untill I got to the house to look at them. Back to the river I went.
