I finally got to go out and do some nature/wildlife photography this past Monday. This is a Marsh Hawk. I took this picture and the one linked at the Pearl River Wildlife Management Area on the Ross Barnett Reservoir. It's a little north of Jackson Mississippi. These birds come out in the early to mid morning and start flying over the marsh looking for food. They are pretty cool to watch and sometimes you can hear them screaming.
