I need to learn more about birds and their names. I've learned a few over the years but haven't been doing a lot of photography lately. Hopefully things will pick up. My wife really wants us to get a canoe so we can get out there. I don't know the name of this one but they are all over the marsh are we go to. I think these birds stay around water and I remember an issue of BASS Master or some fishing magazine years ago with a picture of a bass coming strait up out of the water after one.

Well it's not wildlife but it is a new post after a couple of months! We've been really busy lately and just bought a house! The house has a rear side entry car port and a gate to the back yard where I can park a boat. When my grandpa found out he asked if I had room to keep his old boat. A 1972 Falcon Tiger that he bought in 1973. I can't count the amount of good times we've had in that boat, (much less the amount of fish caught) and he has even more good times from it. He knew that both me and my brother never wanted to see that boat go but not as much as him. Well now he knows it will still be enjoyed greatly and taken well care of. And he's anxious to come up and let me take him fishing in it! That will be great. I give great thanks to God for the blessings I’ve had throughout my life and the family that He gave me. I remember being in this boat with each family member, at different times of course, and each time my grandpa was the captain. I pray that God will give me the blessing of being the captain for each family member at some time or another and have wonderful memories from Ole Blue.
