Comments: Northern Harrier

I really appreciate each comment, and it does not have to be a compliment. I want the truth on what you think about the image you see. That's how I learn what you like.

Lovely warm colours and a nice capture of the bird in its habitat.

Nice composition of browns! And good timing with the hawk. Great photo!

This is a wonderful shot of him low to the ground, I like that! I usually see birds higher up, with the sky as a background. This is really nice.

The Northern harrier (which has derailed many a rural development project in upstate New York) often hunts at low altitudes like this flying rather intricate fligt patterns in search of unsustpecting rodents and such. This is a great shot!

What an awesome bird! And a really great shot! You would have LOVED to have been with me and my brother Saturday morning. We went fishing at some new place I'd never been before. We saw lots of hawks and all different kinds of birds. Saw a HUGE owl. It was incredible!
